Let me add my stupid comment to your stupid comment about a stupid comment

Here’s the sequence: Donald Sterling utters some “racist” comments and it becomes a big flap. President Obama then, of course, must comment about it, because, after all, he is the president. He is required to comment about something as small as that, apparently because nothing else is going on: “When people -when ignorant folks want to advertise their ignorance, you don’t really have to do anything, you just let them talk. And that’s what happened here.” No. That’s not what happened here. We would not have heard Obama’s comments if he would have followed his own statement. “… you don’t really have to do anything…” Why can’t He ignore the ignorant? Because progressives are constantly on the lookout for opportunity to perpetuate the persistence of vision that America is a racist country, and therefore, there is still suffering at the hands of the racist whites. The progressives will never let the racism mantra go, because without it they cannot continue to pursue their agenda. Could white people be getting tired of being called racist? Or do they just have to “take it” because the blacks had to “take it” for so long? Apparently to progressives, two wrongs can make a right.

Notice that Donald Sterling does not have “conservative” or “Republican” as a descriptor before his name in the news? If he was a conservative and Republican, you’d be able to bet good money that there would be those descriptors. But he’s not. Donald Sterling donates money to Democrat politicians, because he’s a Democrat. But the blamestream media doesn’t need to be bothered with those kind of details.

You got to pick ’em up just to say hello

Went to a local bar to watch the Wild playoff game (crap, they lost) last night and as my luck would have it I had to use the men’s room, ostensibly for the same purpose as the jerk who chose to break his beer bottle in the urinal. Wow. I bet that was really funny when he did it but it didn’t look all that humorous when I went in there.

This rant goes into the category of “losing faith in the future.” Or perhaps it might be better to put it into the category of “why did you have any faith in our future in the first place?” What really irks me is that you know the guy is a coward because he doesn’t do that kind of stuff when somebody might be watching. Am I jumping to conclusions here? Am I convicting the guy without due process? Of course there are scenarios. He could have set the bottle on the urinal while playing with… while urinating and it slid off and fell directly into the urinal shattering the bliss. Possible. But then a “good” guy would have notified one of the bartender ladies. Which didn’t happen, because someone else notified one of the gals and she went in with a broom and dustpan to clean it up. She came out saying “Well, you didn’t tell me it was IN the urinal!”

So what’s the conclusion here? He was a short jerk. Reminds me of a Randy Newman song.

Short People got no reason
Short People got no reason
Short People got no reason
To live

They got little hands
Little eyes
They walk around
Tellin’ great big lies
They got little noses
And tiny little teeth
They wear platform shoes
On their nasty little feet

Well, I don’t want no Short People
Don’t want no Short People
Don’t want no Short People
`Round here

Short People are just the same
As you and I
(A Fool Such As I)
All men are brothers
Until the day they die
(It’s A Wonderful World)

Short People got nobody
Short People got nobody
Short People got nobody
To love

They got little baby legs
That stand so low
You got to pick ’em up
Just to say hello
They got little cars
That go beep, beep, beep
They got little voices
Goin’ peep, peep, peep
They got grubby little fingers
And dirty little minds
They’re gonna get you every time
Well, I don’t want no Short People
Don’t want no Short People
Don’t want no Short People
‘Round here

A Felix Appearance

Visited the Willman’s Easter Sunday for a little ham and crescent rolls. After the Nash’s left and took their little dog, too, Felix immediately came out of hiding and walked around squeaking – she does not meow very well. More like weak groan like “echhh.”

Am going to do this post with the attachment of a photo taken of Felix with the iPad. After posting, I guess I’ll have to take pictures in landscape mode. There… fixed it in the Photos library and then reattached image in MacJournal. This is pretty slick. But then that didn’t work as it then only showed the placeholder of the image as I deleted it in the media library in WordPress. Trying something else… Had to ultimately fix it in WordPress. But will get this down eventually. 🙂
